The Launceston Wildlife Retreat's back garden gate is left open for the wildlife to come and go freely from the reserve between the river and the retreat. With more houses being built in the area the wildlife search for food. The retreat is now listed as a Garden for Wildlife and welcomes them all providing grass, carrots and pellets in a safe environment.
